I Converted to Islam in An Nur Masjid is St. John's, Newfoundland. My home town. I'll never forget my nervousness approaching alone but alhamdulillah I did. The person I was 10 years ago would have frowned at this video, today it makes me proud to know these facts.

Canada is a free country that promotes human rights, freedom, and equality. It's a great country. But let's not be naive if we want to keep it that way. If people coming to Canada want to live here they need to hold these views and not try to change Canada. By this I mean when a muslim comes to Canada they need drop all religious and cultural views that do not promote human rights and equality; unfortunately I don't see this happening with all muslims who come to Canada. Many muslims come to Canada and push their islamic laws and cultures upon Canadians, expecting Canadians to repress women by shaming the way they dress. They try to change the way we behave by shaming dancing and singing which are banned in islam. They bring their outdated views to Canada and push their agendas upon Canadians. If they are to be welcomed to Canada it should be expected for them not to shame Canadian freedoms and Canadian culture. This isn't always the case but i see it a lot and it needs to stop.

I just look into baitul Islam mosque on Google. It's says this mosque is run by ahmadiyya community. Then this mosque is not considered mosque anymore.
