23/10/24 – Foggy start, windy up north – Morning Weather Forecast UK –Met Office Weather

Weather fronts will skirt far northern areas on Wednesday, causing some strong winds and showers in the north of Scotland and the Western Isles. In the south, dense fog will affect many areas, likely affecting driving conditions until late morning. Elsewhere, it will be cloudy across much of the UK, with some sunny spells later on in the south and the Central Belt of Scotland. A band of rain is expected to move into Northern Ireland and western Scotland later on Wednesday night. No fog at all in West Suffolk this morning.

Despite the forecast no fog here in West Sussex - just the usual diet of cloud and today, again, like the previous two days precipitation, this time in the form of a thin drizzle, that every now and again peps up into heavier rain.The south is turning into a boggy morass that the Met office seems quite oblivious to. I would hate to be a farmer.
