Frédéric Chopin's fifteenth nocturne, composed between 1842 and 1844, and published in August 1844.

In popular culture: featured in the 1997 action thriller The Peacemaker (starring George Clooney and Nicole Kidman), where the main terrorist character (Marcel Iureş as Dusan Gavrich), being a music teacher, explains to a young girl how to properly 'feel' and interpret the nuances in the music, and then plays it for her on the piano. The piece starts out as a solo piano performance and then expands into a full orchestral arrangement. The song "For the Damaged Coda" by Blonde Redhead is based on the F minor nocturne, and appears in the animated series Rick and Morty as the recurring theme for the character Evil Morty.

I listen to you playing piano while painting clouds on cardboard with elementary school kids in one of the worst parts of Berlin. It calms them so much. They never ask for pop or rap music. We quietly paint and paint sometimes for hours. Chopin is part of my lessons. Thank you for contributing.

I am totally enchanted by the Chopin interpretations of Mr. Chaimovich. I am a Chopin fan, collecting LP-s, CD-s, other records
including Rubinstein, Horowitz, Cziffra etc. But Chaimovich offers something special that touches the deepest layers of my spirituality.
His interpretation recalls the mixture of happiness and and disappointment at the same time, silent small tragedies and a happy relief thereafter.
Listening to him, I associate the novels of Chekhov, the paintings of Chagall.
How is he able to condense as many contradictive emotions into a couple of minutes (in spite of his young age).
Contrary to other interpretators he avoids the gratuitous virttuosity, his play is characterized by modesty, humility to the composer.
I expect, he will praise Hungary in future with a concert.
