Everyone saying TMNT are dc, they aren't DC or marvel. The original authors did in fact use the daredevil origin as the origin for TMNT, shedder's clan the foot is also a reference to daredevil's enemy the hand. But to correct the video a tad a canister containing the chemicals hit a kid holding a fish tank which held the turtles, which the kid promptly dropped; shattering. the turtles and chemicals then fell into a storm drain. Leading them to splinter whose name is a reference to daredevil's master stick. Hope this helps everyone, or people will just tell me I'm wrong 🙃

Wait if the daredevil accident made the turtles, and tmnt once collab with batman, doesn't that mean dc and marvel are in the the same universe or their different universes which one is in dc and one is in marvel? Idk.

People calling TMNT DC, do you realize it’s just a crossover like Transformers with marvel or Batman into Invincible. They’re not a part of the universe. TMNT were created as a parody of Daredevil and are heavily inspired by him. Here are a couple examples.

• Daredevil fights ninja group called The Hand. The TMNT fight the ninja group The Foot.

• Daredevil’s master is called Stick. TMNT master is Splinter.

• As the person in the video stated they have very similar origin stories that are connect.

It’s been well documented by the creators that the creation of TMNT was just meant to be a satire of Daredevil and they didn’t realize it would be so popular.
