Nancy Pelosi’s former chief of staff John Lawrence says over time, whatever “hard feelings” there are between US President Joe Biden and the former House speaker will “dissipate”.

President Biden is reportedly upset at Ms Pelosi over her role in forcing his decision to abandon his re-election bid.

“I think that over time, whatever hard feelings there are will dissipate, particularly if there’s a successful election for Democrats in November,” Mr Lawrence told Sky News Australia.
