Alright, I’m saying it. Using this track (which was temp music) instead of an original piece from Gustavo was the biggest miss in this episode. This Max Richter song is great and I’ve played it many times but it has been in every long emotional scene in movies and tv since 2017 and hearing it again just made it feel so generic. They have Gustavo on-board writing new music, just use him. This could’ve been an all-time great piece of music from him but instead they used the generic temp music which was the easy way out.
