- Hey cool cats, I'm Dr. Universe here to answer your baffling science questions. Like this one, where do bees sleep? Sleep is important for lots of animals, including bees. Look, this one looks very sleepy. How can you tell? Well, bees don't have eyelids so they don't shut their eyes when they sleep. Instead scientists have found that sleeping bees stop moving their antenna, or sometimes tip sideways a little.
