Can I Build The Bronze Age Collapse In 12 Hours?!

Short answer: Yes!
The results from the poll I posted on my community tab really caught me off guard! I had no idea there was such an interest in the Sea People. These invading tribes were once thought to be the main cause of the Bronze Age Collapse but now historians and archeologists believe that they were merely a symptom of a variety of issues happening during that time. What we do know is their destructive wake was felt around the Mediterranean sea as this MOC recreation of the fall of Ugarit shows!

This build turned out quite well given the difficulty in making obscure historical themes like this. I wonder what other crazy options I should add to the polls next time! Let me know in the comments what themes you would like to see next! I'm thinking about some Adventurers or Western...

Excellent build, the temple building is for the limited space a good representation of that area and era and the Philistines were probably one of the groups of sea people, so well done on the historical aspects.

I like watching your 12hr builds they are similar to watching your tutorial videos where I learn different techniques to building. They're also fascinating to watch.

Well done. The defenders lost for one reason and one reason ditch.

This turned out very nice! Being ethnically Turkish, I’m digging the ancient Mediterranean vibe! Like everyone said, the wall looks great, but it’s a shame that a lot of that great texture is covered by the large white building. I think you could’ve left the parts of the wall you can’t see plain and used those parts to give the sides of the towers more texture instead. But it still looks good and it’s great to see you succeed outside your comfort zone again!

This is fantastic. The stark white building is a little jarring. I think a gradient transition would have been better. Or colour matching the rest of the build. Otherwise it's really really good, and now I have another source of inspiration for doing textured walls

Wow, great build! Love the techniques on that big tan wall. I'd love to get a better look at the details inside of that white building.
