Final Pictures Of The Stars

This is a morbid idea for a video, but I thought it was an interesting topic for a collection of some of the final pictures of our favorite stars. If any of these pictures offend you, I do apologize...I featured the final pictures of famous stars. Some of the pictures are sad and not for everyone to see - and they just show you that no matter how much money or power you have, you can not stop the passage of time...

It really isn’t morbid to see photos of people who passed shortly thereafter. If we are granted a long life, we will look older than our younger, more vibrant selves. Many of these people looked pretty darn good, considering how close they were to their final exit. David Bowie, whose death shocked many of his fans, looked fantastic in that photo, especially considering he was essentially dying of the disease that took him just five days later. Even Moe Howard and Larry Fine, though quite aged looking, appeared to be enjoying themselves in their last photo together. Liz Taylor, though obviously frail and ill, and Lucille Ball, and Ginger Rogers, were still dressed to the nines and had their famous hair-dos coiffed as usual. Bing Crosby may have looked terrible at that last luncheon, but he still went out and played a round of golf before he died. What a great way to end his stay here! I imagine that for public figures once known for their physical beauty, aging can be especially difficult; but, they did their utmost to keep their youthful selves still somewhat evident, at least in spirit. They each left a legacy that most of us will not have the chance to do. May they all be resting in peace.

Very interesting video. Even with the dark sunglasses i knew that was Betty Hutton shortly before she passed. Was a big fan of hers. David Bowie looked great. A few were unrecognizable. But we all cant look great forever.

The picture of David Bowie was taken by his longtime friend Jimmy King, but not five days prior his death.
The shooting took place the year before his death for the release of his last album Blackstar.
Bowie had planned the promotion and release of the album a long time ahead, he wanted it to be his final legacy. The picture was released along with the album, only days before his death, but was taken much earlier. His real last public appearance was on December 5th, where also the official last photo was taken. This was to his premiere of his single Lazarus.
Bowie looked gaunt, pale and very exhausted. Even if he always appeared to be somehow immortal, cancer, very sadly, also affected the appearance of the Thin White Duke. He, with no doubt though, never lost his elegance and took his fate gracefully.
