First of all, working in the UK as a skilled or Unskilled worker on a temporary visa grants you access to some benefits such as;
- ability to bring your dependents (if you have one) as against coming to the UK as a student.
- access to free healthcare via the national health service (NHS) for you and your family members. Of course, you will have to pay the health surcharge as part of your visa application except you are coming under the health & social care work visa for Carers, Nurses, Doctors, pharmacists, etc.
- Application for Indefinite leave to remain (ILR) after 5 years of residence in the UK and a British passport after 12 months of holding ILR without a criminal record.

It is important to note that there are five steps in getting sponsored to the UK as a worker or temporary worker with the first step being searching for jobs in the first place- kindly refer to our videos and the top UK sites to search for jobs, the second step is to verify that the employer is licensed to sponsor from the overseas and that is the essence of this video, thirdly, you apply to a licensed sponsor. Fourthly, you receive a job offer and subsequently a Certificate of sponsorship (COS). And of course, the last step is to apply for the visa either by yourself or the company does that for you.
