Okay, on the last points in the video: 1) Peak oil is going to happen sooner or later, that's a fact. Just because the predictions have been wrong before doesn't change the fact that oil is going to run out eventually. And it's not only the running out that's worrying, it's the fact that the oil gets harder and harder to find, meaning that it's going to get more and more expensive even before it runs out. AND we use more and more of it all the time: it'll run out way faster than you'd think...

That great thing about listening to Howard Bloom for more than an hour is that you get to hear him contradict himself 30 times all while mocking everybody else for doing the same thing. That last two minutes of verbal diarrhea is pretty much summarizes a good drunken rant. I don't hate Howard, I think he means well, but he loses himself often when he gets going. Perhaps he should revisit that part of the conversation about self critique earlier in the segment.

in reference to the newt freaking out at the moderators, why was it ok for fox or any other republican with a mic and vocal chords to ask questions about Clintons past, or John Edwards past, but once the tables are turned, it comes as a surprise to them and they get offended? fox slandered edwards about his affair, talked about his childs death, but when a question comes up about a permiscuous fancy...

@LobsterPotsticker Reddit deleted the post because what TJ said was so horrifically offensive, so clearly TJ went beyond simply being crude and started to seriously hurt people and frighten them. Shaming a rape victim and telling them that their rapist deserves a medal for raping them is monstrous; it is never a joke. Read for yourself what TJ wrote on the blogs where it is discussed. The fact that anyone is still TJ's fan after this surprises me. People need to know this.
