I really hate your workflow. I decided that I can’t let my ADHD trick me into learning eMacs…. I don’t need it, I’m finally getting really comfortable in vim and don’t want to leave the terminal…. I don’t need eMacs.

But i don’t want to go to Obsidian when I could stay in my terminal. I dont want to leave my terminal to record a quick thought… I started querying ChatGPT about tools that could meet my desires. AND IT SUGGESTED ORG MODE! Who am I turning into?!?!

I blame you.

Also, “engineer” when referencing contemporary people has lost all meaning to me. It really lost whatever magic surrounded it while I was in grad school. So many of the students had zero curiosity. And then I’m shocked at how many engineers are just jumping through hoops, mindlessly turning knobs, and waiting to clock out so they can go home and watch tv.

I have just started going to college (not iit or nit) and I am wondering if opting computer science was a wise decision given the job market, reliability etc.

5yrs from now when I graduate how uncertain things are going to be.😢
