Egyptian street food
Koshari is Egypt’s national dish and a widely popular street food. An Egyptian dish that originated
during the mid-19th century the dish combines Italian, Indian and Middle Eastern culinary elements.
Kushari is made of rice, macaroni, and lentils mixed together, topped with a spiced tomato sauce and garlic vinegar and garnished with chickpeas and crispy fried onions and is often served with sprinklings of garlic juice, garlic vinegar and hot sauce are optional.
How many calories are in a koshary?
Naturally, koshary differs from shop to shop, but in terms of average estimates a small plate has around 200 calories, around 300-500 for a medium-large sized plate, and well over 1000 calories for the super-extra-large sizes (the calorie differentials may be determined according to the proportions of ingredients used.

Egyptian Rice 🍚 02 cups
Pasta 2 kinds of pasta ( spaghetti & small one ) 500 or 650 g is enough
Green lentils 01 cup
Vermicelli
Onion 🧅 6
Garlic 🧄 1
Tomato sauce fresh 6
Chopped tomato
Tomato paste
Green chili
White vinegar
*spices
1 Salt
2- Black pepper
3- Cumin
