The Jedi Temple Guard was a security force maintained by the Jedi Order and tasked with the protection of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, the capital planet of the Galactic Republic. An ancient and honored tradition in Jedi history, the Temple Guards were Jedi Knights pulled from the ranks to become anonymous sentinels as part of their lifelong commitment to the Order. Concealed within formal robes and a mask, the life of a guardsman was a higher calling that demanded absolute emotional detachment. Armed with lightsaber pikes—a double-bladed lightsaber that produced yellow plasma blades—, or similar hinged double-bladed lightsabers, the Guards served under the head of security, Jedi Master Cin Drallig. During the Clone Wars, Padawan Barriss Offee was arrested by the Temple Guards for committing treasonous acts against both the Order and the Republic.

With the end of the Clone Wars, the fall of the Jedi Temple and the Galactic Empire's rise to power, one survived the Great Jedi Purge by pledging his allegiance to Darth Sidious, and joined the Inquisitorius—Jedi hunters trained in the ways of the dark side of the Force by Sidious' Sith apprentice, Darth Vader. The former Guard was granted the title of Grand Inquisitor.

I love the temple gaurds thought they were cool but didn't see a lot of company's doing their lightsabers unfortunately but now some are showing up with them

I would‘ve liked a comparison of this one and the other Temple Guard saber you have. Still I really love the temple guard saber and prefere the gold and white look

I do like that the individual hilts are nice and compact. Having the different options for connecting them is also helpful, but that non-locking swing hinge would annoy me.

Right now I'm holding off getting more hilts. Unless UW/TPS re-release their version of Count Dooku's hilt. Couldn't resist their Shin Hati hilt release though.

I actually just ordered my first lightsaber in the hobby and it was this one. Glad to see a review so I know what to expect. Hopefully that red button isn't too much in the way as I learn to do spinning. The solo saber being short has me thinking that may be an issue.

6:31 well my guess to fix that would be to tighten the screws on the hinges and that should fix the issue
