I first moved to the Philippines when I was 7 in 1961. I have been happily married to a Filipina for many years. Our youngest is 22. I think the Provincial girls will give you a better chance at a long term happy marriage. More sincere and less scammers. Remember this is a contact sport. The more contacts the better are your chances. You will catch what you are fishing for. Look for a good wife in good places. You cannot catch a Salmon in a septic tank.

Imagine for *one minute, one had* to choose from these 3 lovely young ladies . They are all beautiful, charming, intelligent, practical (LOL) loyal, attentive, hard working and any other adjective you want to throw in there. I find it impossible to choose, as each of them has the same amazing qualities, you'd have to flip a coin! Pea, thank you so much for bringing these 3 lovely young ladies onto your amazing platform. In retrospect, it would bee a good lesson to teach to MOST American women, Its no wonder, any man would take the 8500 mile journey to find his beloved companion. Peace !

I learned something today -- mothers are the light of the family and fathers are the foundation. That's a really good way to look at it. Pea, what a great series! My gf is a provincial girl, but has been working in the city for awhile now. She still refers to herself as "simple" (meaning lifestyle, not intellect). Can't wait to get there and move to the province with her. I expect to greatly benefit from her knowledge of provincial life as we start our new adventure together.

I recently saw a photo of my mother at my aunt's wedding when she was 26 years old. That was probably the first time I ever thought of her as a young beautiful woman with hopes and dreams of her future. Watching these four beautiful women talk and laugh brings a little tear to my eye. I hope they all live full and happy lives and all their wishes come true.

Pea, let's be practical like the young ladies said. Saying that province girls are naive or inexperienced with 'The ways of the world' isn't something derogatory its simply a fact. Your question of 'rent don't buy' proves this because they can't even conceptualize why a man wouldn't want to get married. Their perspective is more pure and hasn't been tainted by the pain and hurt of another person being selfish and cruel with their feelings. They have probably no frame of reference that there would be guys out there that would promise to marry them just to sleep with them and leave. Also, my wife is from the province and before we met she had never tried many things like steak, real Italian food (not Jolly Bee spaghetti or pizza), and many other things because they simply aren't available in her native area. It doesn't mean you are stupid, its just that you are inexperienced with those things. Much like someone that grew up in the city would be shocked if exposed to the life in many provincial areas. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for this Pea, the woman I am dating currently is from the province, she is amazing and one reason why is because she does not care about money (I make enough that it is not an issue for me), but she is humble and honest, she grew up with her brothers and sisters, her dad passed away when she was young and her mother raised them on her own... My wife is from Baybay City Leyte province and she is the love of my life. She did travel to Manila for work for some years but her roots in the province could not be broken. She is the most intelligent resourceful person that I have ever meant and she now is the mother of our two children. The best decision I ever made was getting married to her. Her devotion to our family makes me smile everyday and she is the best mommy ever to our children. May God bless the people of the Philippines always because they are truly among the best people you will ever meet.
