Git Bash and NotePad++ installation with Path variable setup

Please note: Mac uses do not try to install Bash just install notepad++. Bash is inbuilt in Mac.

Notepad++ - Choose components page select choose 'Create shortcut on desktop'

Git - Choose Notepad++ as default editor, Use option 'Use Git from Windows command prompt', Use OpenSSH, Use OpenSSL library,Check out windows style, use windows default console

Add Path variables: copy the path where Notepad++ was installed, generally, it would be at C:\Program Files\Notepad++ - copy this link. Go to environment variables and add a new path & paste this link. Watch the video if you do not know or never added environment variables before.

Test:
Open bash from the desktop shortcut & type -
$ git version
$ bash -version

$ notepad++ (This should open notepad++ from Bash)

the new option is to add a new environment variable - here our goal is to append the existing Path variable so use the edit option. This is not very clear in the video.
