I don't know how I feel about dialing in the different mode settings. I prefer to click or hold the button in to allow for desired setting. I also like to know which lumen rating I'm using and this flashlight doesn't tell you, it only gives the turbo one. But it seems to be a pretty cool flashlight if you're not concerned about which lumen rating you're using. I think I will stick to the push button, "clicky" operation method instead of the SRT one.

I have the SRT7 and I love it. Best UI going. Very well built and very bright. I would snatch up the 9 if they hadn't decided to make it look like a bloated Keychain light. Seems like a great upgrade from the 7 in almost every way, but they get an D- in looks dept.
My other gripe is the useless backward pocket clip and akward battery door. The screw off end of the 7 wasn't broken, there was no need to "fix" it.

The brightness settings seem too low. Point 1 lumen can't be usable, 3 lumen is good for theaters, 13 & 17 seem low. Then the big jump to a blinding 2150 lumen. This doesn't make sense. And the settings seem to require two hands, whereas my light works with one hand.
