People in the media ARE also talking about teams other than KC not wanting the Bengals in the playoffs. They just focus on the Chiefs because, 1) We can control whether they get in or not., and 2) Joe Burrow is the only active QB that has ever beat Mahomes in the playoffs. It's not "objectively better" for the Chiefs to play the Bengals in the divisional round and the Ravens in the championship game instead of playing the winner of the Steelers/Texans in the divisional round and the winner of the Bills/Ravens in the championship game. I think most Chiefs fan would prefer the latter.

As a chiefs enjoyer I'm not much more afraid of Cincinnati then Denver. Denver's games have been just as close as Cincinnati's. And I think buffalo is Kansas City's biggest challenge.

The fact that most people expect Cincy to go to Buffalo and beat the Bills is why the question "should KC be concerned if Cincy makes the playoffs?" is asked in the first place and as a Chiefs fan I say keep Burrow, chase (lower case intended), Higgens and the DE who ruined Kingsley out of the Playoffs!!!
