How come 1 day old video has comments 4 months back? Coming to video, I am a Power BI developer and absolutely loved the power of Tableau... But is there anything like DAX measures and Power Query in Tableau? Like we can dramatically transform data with Power Query and create measures for YTD or YoY or MoM values using DAX... Is it possible in Tableau too??? If not, then it's a major drawback...

The visuals in Tableau are much nicer, but Power BI wins when it comes to the underlying ETL tool of Power Query and ease of use.

I was hoping to see some unique advanced features in both tools like performance, automation, underlying architecture, etc. Much of the features and functionality you highlighted can be achieved from just Excel.

I have used both tools, tableau is like ferrari and power bi is like ford . Performance is the key factor in todays world. Power bi is too slow for developers when using large data sets and its copy cat of tableau. Nothing new comes to power bi before tableau
