I really hate that nearly every modern sci fi show ends up with a cast where everyone hates each other. No humor. No comradery. They're all like a rollercoaster that only goes down.

At first glance, the trailer is quite impressive ... like the Trojan horse.

I use to watch TNG with my father when I was a kid after he would get home from work, the series has always held significant importance to me because of that. When I got older I was able to go back and watch the show again and actually understand the importance of much of the story lines and moral conundrums the characters faced. Patrick Stewart also during that time became one of my favorite actors. If this show turns out to be junk I will be very disappointed, but not surprised.
