Darkglass Electronics B7K Ultra V2 - Bass Demo

This is an alternative demo for the new version of the B7K Ultra by Darkglass Electronics.
According to Darkglass:
The upgraded Microtubes B7K Ultra features all the versatility and sonic possibilities of the first version plus: (1) Single user loadable cabinet simulation impulse response. (2) Micro-USB B port to connect to PC/Mac to load a different Virtual Cabinet through the Darkglass Suite. (3) 3.5mm headphone output with cabinet simulation. (4) Balanced XLR output with switchable cabinet simulation.

I just upgraded to the b7k ultra v2 from a standard b7k and im really kinda not that impressed with it. Then i saw your video of the alpha omega v2 and man that thing is killer! Do you recommend the alpha omega v2 or the b7k ultra v2? After seeing the videos, im thinking the alpha omega is king...

Great demo Chris. I don't know man, I'm not sold on the B7KU V2 over the AOU. I love the distortion on the B7K but I was expecting more from the B7KU V2.

Does this pedal seriously not have a parallel clean output DI?
It would be nice to easily record the amp SIM out and a clean DI at the same time. I guess maybe one can just load up the IR in their DAW? But then you still need to split a clean DI before the pedal with another DI.... :/
In this case, I don't really need to upgrade to this version unless I just want the cab sim sound live without having to bring out my Axe FX or Kemper.
Or am I wrong here?

Hi Chris, your videos are always awesome!! About the Darkglass B7K Ultra V2 I wanna ask you: on this pedal I can also get the same exactly sound of the B7K? I know Ultra have more features, but if I wanna also get the same sound of the standard B7K (in this case maybe B7K V2), I can?

By the way, am I the only one who finds the B7K Ultra to have less gain (aka get less distorted) than the normal B7K overall? I have both pedals and they really sound like having different levels of dirt at equal settings to me.

Hey, very nice demo! I am just wondering what is the specific difference between this and the Vintage Ultra V2? The controls appear to be the same. All the demos i found are too short to tell the difference and also everybody is using different gear... And, could I load the same Cab Impulses in both of them? Cheers

So I can run the DI to FOH, but how do I get signal to my amp? Obviously smashing the front end of my amp with a headphone amp won't work too well.

Is the BK7 Ultra V2 and the Alpha Omega Ultra two completely different pedeals, or will one, or the other, deliver the same bass sound? Which is the best choice looking for most versatility in sound? If BK7 can sound like Omega, can Omega sound like BK7 and so on. I like playing rock and metal bass. Mind my english, I'm from Denmark :) Hope you understand this post.

Hi, i just got one..i got a question..so you can only hear the cab sim via xlr output? 1/4" out and headphone jack wont hear it?thanks so much.
