Best Of Bike - Dakar 2018

Bike: MATTHIAS WALKNER (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM) won the Dakar 2018 in front of KEVIN BENAVIDES (MONSTER ENERGY HONDA TEAM) and TOBY PRICE (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM).

For its 40th edition, the 10th to be held in South America, the Dakar rally is revisiting the Pacific Ocean and the dunes of Peru, which drivers and riders will tackle after a few days sampling the delights of the capital, Lima. Competitors will then head through to Bolivia, for a welcome rest day in the festive atmosphere of La Paz. Argentinian aficionados top the podium when it comes to enthusiasm and good humour, and the most joyous of them will be waiting to acclaim the riders in Córdoba, host to the Dakar finish line for the first time.

I am simple man and this Dakar was just with simple number 100. No big money, no helicopters and handreeds tv cameras. Just team of 3 people with Lyndon on moto gave the picture of rally everybody wanted!

Ughh, I have been watching dakar for so many years and its so sad to see less and less coverage of small groups/companies. Those small teams literally kick asses. I love dakar, but its too commercialized. Ofcourse, it awesome to see how athletes from big teams are doing, i have favourites but nothing compares to struggles of those who dont have those millions in the bank.

Great coverage of the main classes, but I'm really disappointed Dakar is giving so little information about the small/sub-classes and 'non-works' teams.

3:11 that shot is not from the rally course. The rally doesn't go to the Sonoran Desert, that's the Sonoran Desert

Once again those who edit the videos make the mistake of placing non-existent names. When the competition was still in Peru, the name of DUNA ARGENTINA comes out at 1:57 when it does not exist. Since the image belongs to the DUNAS DE TANAKA in the desert of Peru. It is a pity that these errors have been continuous in the videos that raised the DAKAR, if for the next hire a better video editor.
Una vez más los que editan los videos cometen el error de colocar nombres inexistentes. Cuando aún la competencia estaba en el Perú, sale en el minuto 1:57 el nombre de DUNA ARGENTINA, cuando eso no existe. Ya que la imagen pertenece a las DUNAS DE TANAKA en el desierto de Perú. Es una pena que estos errores hayan sido continuos en los videos que subia el DAKAR, si para la próxima contratan un mejor editor de videos.
