A friend of mine dup'd the rabbit lamps by coating 2 plastic rabbits from dollar tree with paper mache then cutting them in half. She sealed off the hollow centers with more paper mache. She covered them with a thin layer of paper clay, added details to the clay then painted them gold. She used the bits from 2 old lamps along with pipe she spray painted gold also to finish her lamps. I love she also made macrame shades for them.. totally gorgeous and even better than the Anthropology ones.

Fabulous video for money saving but, in defence of Anthropology, I have never been disappointed by the quality of their goods. If you are buying items for ‘keeps’ I think it pays to invest in quality. If you are still trying to find your forever style, then cheap and cheerful wins hands down xx
