She has such a haunting voice. I listened to this song over 100 times and it made me feel like she knows me. Like she's telling my story. I've struggled with anxiety for over 25 years and I still do today. It is an unfortunate fact that in African families and communities we overlook the importance of mental health and talking about one's struggles. More particularly amongst men.

So happy I found this song after 2 years of looking for it... There was a guy who used to love playing this on repeat at night.. Yooooh God that time I am going through one of the most depressing times of my life.. With a 1 month year old.. Just kicked out of a place I knew as home.. No where to go but a friends house.. Cried every day.. The only time I had peace was when I was asleep and I'd wake up in the middle of the night or early hours of the morning to her haunting voice yooooh I'd wet my pillow coz reality would hit that I am not home..

Id look around me feel like I am dreaming that the family I thought was mine would do the ultimate betrayal of kicking me out because of lies of a person who was old with dimensia...this song hurt me more but healed me in a way used to hear it from afar that time I can't even Spotify it I just could hear bits and peaces of what she was saying and the melody.. I now listen to it without crying I love it love love it. She has an amazing voice..

Whatever debt I have collected from loans to renovate a home and buy furniture only to be kicked out I am slowly getting there.. And I hope all those who are depressed may God give you the strength to pull through it and may he heal all of us from all the kinds of pains we experience and have experienced.. My brother passed away last year in June. He killed himself after battling severe depression and anxiety. I talked him out of it once, often I would tell him that I need him in case others didn’t, after we lost our mother his eyes where always teary, I carried him everywhere I went then one day I left home to another city I told him I’ll be back soon lemme try and hustle for us but when I finally was about to come home he hanged himself . 🥺🥺 this song reminds me of him and the voices in his head 💔
