Would just like to thank you for making this video! Have not had much luck lately fishing at our local lake in NC and decided to give this technique a try today. I did not have any underspins in my box so i took a trip this morning down to Bass Pro in Cary Nc. I ended up picking up the Blakemore 1/2 oz with a silver willow leaf blade. I had a bunch of 4" Keitech swim baits in multiple colors. Started the day with a shakey head and had no luck. Tied on the underspin and used the technique you used in this video. Cast it out, let it sink to the bottom, super slow retrieve back in. Needless to say the technique worked!!! 1st fish..2 1/2 pounder. second fish..4 pounder. Third fish 4 1/2 pounder. Forth fish 5pounder. And to top it off the best fish of the day a 7lber!! Bama Bass FTW:}

Awesome deal! I can't wait to try this technique on my home water. With warmer than normal temps, ice hasn't set in yet in Illinois. I just bought a Ranger Cherokee 117 so I've been looking for a good reason to get it on the lake. How do I go about getting the under spins? Thanks!

great video. guick question, do you ever have problems with the fish not being able to go back under water after you bring up for. 30+ feet deep? I saw a guy last year with some type of blatter needle letting the air out of a fish he pulled up from deep. he told me I should research it and learn how to do it. just wondering if you have experienced this

Was up there Saturday...bass were busting the shad by the boatramp...could not buy a bite anywhere else but throw a fluke/spinnerbait or senko into the fray. I tried the deep, underspins, deep divers, swimjigs, swimbaits, slow rolling chatterbaits along the bottom...nothin. Nobody else had any luck in the deep either. I think you scared'em all off man.
Some days, it's like that.

couldn't I fish an underspin throughout the year just like a regular swim bait or is it better used in the conditions you were fishing
