An English translation of the second half of the Blue Archive main story Volume 3, "The Treaty of Eden," Chapter 3, "Our Story," which released with the Serika (New Year's) banner on 1/12/2022.

At last, the day of the Treaty of Eden signing ceremony has come. Cracks enter into the peaceful veneer of everyday life. Confusion and hatred accelerate. In the end, will all converge into "catastrophe"? Or perhaps——

This episode is really great for many reasons, but I think one of the biggest ones is that it really makes you realize what the meaning behind the title is. Blue, as stated by the creators, has a lively energy and a youthful feel to it, and the Japanese character for blue 青 is present in the word for youth 青春. Hence, as Hifumi puts it, this game is about “The story of [their] youth!!”
We’ve been getting a lot of hiccups along the way, like with Mika almost killing Seia without knowing why, Arius committing terrorism, Hoshino being essentially abducted and becoming a guinea pig, and so forth. However, in the end, it’s all part of their youth, and that’s why we—as the Sensei—must guide them forward. People make lots of mistakes during adolescence, and that’s why it’s important to have someone to guide you the right way—a good adult to do so, preferably.

As for Hifumi herself, I think she, as a character, really symbolizes what the game is about. Sure, she’s an ordinary girl, but that’s precisely why she’s plays such a big role. By being ordinary, she experiences the most of what we would consider as “youth”; spending time with friends, being carried along with the flow, making friends, and more. It’s difficult for me to explain since I’m not the best at expressing my thoughts, but Hifumi’s ordinariness is, in my opinion, one of the reasons she plays such a big role in conveying the original creators’ thoughts behind the game. We see all the girls demonstrating their youth through their momotalks, but Hifumi is the one who really and most enthusiastically shouts (symbolically) YOUTH the entire time.

Hifumi and Hina, they really are the shining star of main story, without them we won't be able to going this far. Thank to they help in chapter 1, we able to save Hoshino, without Hina help in Chapter 3, we may have die, without Hifumi become the beacon of hope, everyone may have given up on exam and this despair situation.

re-watching this translation and realized my game was bugged, half of Hifumi's voice was missing for my own playthrough 😂 still kinda weird for Hifumi to give a lengthy speech in the middle of battle.

The real star for this chapter is the Sensei, actually useful player character in gacha game for once. Sensei does not interfere when it's normal conflict between students (like the Aris situation in chapter 2), even when Nagisa tried to sabotage the test results, Sensei only fulfilled his duty as the teacher and did not use Schale's authority to resolve the issue. Yet he will do whatever it takes to protect his students whenever they are in serious danger (Hoshino rescue in chapter 1 and now Eden treaty).
I like your translation "It's my job to believe in the dreams my students wish for". This line sums up the character of Sensei perfectly.

Hifumi’s speech was so powerful the sun or whatever god that was watching them, give them the power to push away the dark clouds of the city, Hifumi is such a wonderful protagonist

Interesting detail- when Hina became depressed, her halo’s purple glow dimmed significantly and lost the glowing fracture lines at the floaty triangles. It’s pretty subtle, but having dynamic halos according to changing emotional states is pretty neat

That battle at the end where everyone was helping the main team was amazing. I absolutely loved it, along with everything else about this. Hifumi's speech, Hina, Abydos' appearance, the Justice Task Force and Prefect Team working together. What a banger.
