From what I know, I think the pilot had a clogged artery in his heart, which could've been deadly. Thankfully, due to the passenger's quick thinking, and calm behavior, death was avoided ❤

I heard the whole ATC recording, and the situation was full of potential for a cluster f***. Passenger got excellent “on air” training from another pilot who knew the plane’s characteristics, and the passenger landed the plane like a boss.

I think the flight attendents should also be taught how to fly planes just in case for these moments, idk if they get taught but if they dont, they should.

These are the times that playing a Flight Pilot Simulator game would be a huge benefit.

Once the plane was gonna land in the runway, Palm Beach ATC said to the plane that noticed it (American Airlines Flight 1845), and the ATC told the pilot at the plane.

Worse situation. A pilot is carrying his entire family. He has chosen not to train them to land, in case anything happened and this occurs. The excuse not to train them; I passed my flight physical.
