Great base design 10/10. Perfect for a large group and even smaller groups, for me this base is raid proof, unless there's a big ass siege tower that they have to jump off to get onto the satellite but even then that's a risk they have to take. I would like to see some other designs on the ground though in case they remove building on the monuments. Something that a group between 4-7 players can make and not have to stress all night about, yes I understand there's nothing raid proof but something that will give you re-assurance you will wake up in the morning. You know, I didn't really care much for Rust as it just wasn't my type of game.  But I have to say, your videos have really gotten me to appreciate it for what it is.

Yeah, its pretty much one long, survival PvP match but that's not a bad thing; while a vast majority of it does come down to naked people bashing each other's heads open with rocks, the actual dynamics of the game are quite enthralling.  Thank you for showing us this.

Hey Phaedo, if he wanted to deter rockets he could just lay down 6-8 high tier foundations and wall it up with high tier walls. With the inside empty, you make a double layered armor. The problem is that rockets are hard to make, hard to aim, but hit hard (justifiably). So by making the wall dual layered you make it easier to deter raiders by tiring their resources. This would then take out the last and final problem of the building's security. If that base was to come under a rocket barrage (if by chance a clan were to make this build) then the emplacement handling building permissions would be destroyed. I might be wrong, but my excuse is that Rust hasn't been letting me on due to shader errors for a long time (like four or five updates now).

I have a few questions on building defenses like places you can shoot out of. In the video on your roof I saw the ramps is that a good design to fight back in an active raid or are their better ones.

More of a general question but will putting signs around your base over walls mitigate damage from c4 or rockets?

You mentioned that in the future we most likely cant build on monuments. The coolest way to prevent it would be destructable monuments! I think building on monuments are ok.
