What’s Happening Now was really ahead of its time. Technically it’s a spin-off but it was really just a revival of the original series with a different name. It took the rest of the TV industry decades to catch up. This is basically what Fuller House and The Conners did

I would have loved to have seen a 90s spinoff of the 80s spinoff. It would have been great to have seen Raj and Nadine have kids, Duane married, and Dee graduated from college and married, too.

Raj must've cut communication with everybody. He didn't know anything about what was going on. He didn't know Rob's was closed, he didn't know Dwayne and Shirley watched his mom's house, he didn't know Rerun made commercials, he didn't know his mom bought 20 copies of his book. But worst of all, he apparently didn't invite anyone to his wedding.
