Welcome to my 2023 NOBO Appalachian Trail Thru Hike!

First, let’s review my one request for viewers: negativity, shaming, bullying etc will NOT be tolerated in the comments, towards me or anyone else, so if you can’t be kind, be quiet, or you may find yourself blocked.

ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN! Subscribe now and follow along as I hike 2198 miles from Georgia to Maine and become a Triple Crowner! You can also find more of my trail updates on Instagram: @ms_rebecca_ann

I’m still partnered up with @HyperliteMountainGear as an ambassador so if you want to take advantage of 15% off your order, use “BECCA15” at checkout! They have a lot of great new gear, like the Unbound 40L pack I have with me on the AT, and they just released a 55L for those longer hauls.

For anyone interested in being a Trail Angel from afar and providing Trail Magic, any amount is ALWAYS appreciated, so if you’d like to buy me a cider in town or help with a resupply, my Venmo handle is @bergstromra

Thank you so much for watching and supporting. These videos are my way of journaling so I can watch them later and relive the adventure, but my hope with sharing them publicly is that they’ll spark inspiration within you to get outdoors and/or follow your passion. We’re only given one life and it’s meant to be lived, get out there and live it!

You are doing well and everything is looking so green. It's hard to believe you are already in Damascas. Congrats on reaching VA. It's a pretty state though there are some tough climbs. Take care, Becca, and stay safe.

I bet a slingshot would be super handy for mice in the shelter

Becca, Charmin bear family uses tissue when on the trail. Maybe they could not spare a square and left little scat. Glad you watch your steps. Walk good 😊

The mouse was creepy. At least the bear left. One Bar is a wonderful satisfying meal. Garden of Life Sports Protein Bar has 20g protein. Very good too. Meanwhile, the Range Bar has 18g of protein but 700 cals of wonderful natural fulfilling goodness. Cheers to Virginia. Best wishes during this next state endeavor. Wishing you peace, fair weather and comfort ahead. Be well. Be safe. Happy Trails!

When we were boys we made a cat-apult! But don't worry, no cats were harmed. They were just a little annoyed.

The maple donuts are my fave... you are responsible for getting me hooked on honey stingers during your CDT hike though

You certainly can put in the miles so easily it seems.

The mouse is scary than the Bear … to me

I remember a hiker in an AT shelter had a baby mouse fall from the rafters into his face… Also, AT hikers have been known to be awakened by a mouse getting a snack from the beard of that hiker…
