How to Have the Perfect Draft in WWE 2K23 GM Mode

We show you everything you need to know to have the best draft every time in GM Mode on WWE 2K23. Each draft usually takes me 15-30 minutes as I analyze and figure out the best play in each situation.

Thanks for this tutorial I haven’t played a wrestling game since Smackdown I think like 7 or 8 years ago. Friend got me into this game I got sucked into myGM mode. I’m starting out with NXT 2.0 to be different. But the tips in the video will really help me out. I’m also going start a save in myUniverse mode and create my own CAW.

GM is EXTREMELY HARD on ALL DIFFICULTIES. The key to GM MODE I figured out is to BUY BIG ARENA's every single week, so that you get alot of money. From there its a stamina game. Have wrestlers fight, call out & REPEAT. JUST HAVE THEM FIGHT THEN CALL OUT. Buy free agents when you can't book anyone & just use them TO FILL UP EMPTY SPACES. DO NOT PUT YOUR TIME IN THESE PPL. FOCUS ON CONSTANTLY BOOKING YOUR TOP I'd say 3 wrestlers if not as many as you can. MAKE SURE THEIR POPULARITY STAYS UP BY KEEPING THEM ACTIVE, like PROMOS CALL OUTS, MATCHES. DO NOT LET THEM DROP POPULARITY. IGNORE THE REST OF THEM JUST FAVOR LIKE 3 wrestlers. POPULAR gives you easy high star matches, meaning you don't have to do too much to them. MAKE SURE YOU BUY EVENT CARDS ( SAVE them for PLE's ) basically just CASHOUT EVERYTHING at the PLE's and have your popular superstars fight on the OPENER MATCH & ENDER. Let the build up wrestlers fight mid. And just REPEAT. Do Not Worry about being in LAST PLACE. EVERYONE IS IN LAST PLACE UNTIL AFTER THE PLE's. Also what EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, DO THE CHALLENGE TROPHY TASKS. Either right away to get them out the way so you can focus, or STRATEGICALLY. Fight Giants with Cruisers/ Bruisers with Strikers, SPECIALTY are back up replacements for your missing opponent. I recommend ALL MEN 1 way like just Giants & Cruisers or BRUISERS & STRIKERS, then the women all GIANTS & CRUISERS or BRUISERS & STRIKERS. Thats GM MODE

Hey, i know you reccomeded 14 superstars for hard difficulty, but what about easy and medium, with their being less promos and matches as opposed to hard mode

The logic used to win in this game doesn't even apply to real life WWE They have cruiserweights versus cruiser versus cruisers and big guys versus big guys

with saving 100, 000 at the start would you still recommend the nxt 2.0 for the money saver or would you go for another?

Theres only 3 female giants, 2 faces and 1 heel. Theres tons of fighters, bruisers, and specialists for both the womens and mens division, though for the women theres a lot of fighters and cruisers. The draft roster in my opinion isnt the best for the way the game is programmed to work in my opinion. I think Bruisers v fighters should be the most popular followed by the cruisers v. Giants and then specialists but that just my thought.
