If you like gospel music videos, here's a great bluegrass song honoring Mother! Here is a gospel video in honor of all the Mothers who are no longer with us. If your Mom has passed and gone then this song is for you....

Mothers not dead, she’s only a sleeping
Just patiently waiting for Jesus to come
The birds will be singing while Mother is sleeping
They will sing o’er as the grave sinks away

Well I left my old home way back in the mountains
For mother and father had both passed away
We followed our mother up to the graveyard
For mother was called to heaven that day

Oh how we miss her around the old home place
Everything seems so lonesome since she went away
Mother is sleeping way back the mountains
Yes mother is sleeping way back in the hills

I just discovered you folks yesterday and also being from Indiana and an old time/gospel music fan for many years I am blown away by your talents. Your fiddle and mandolin players have it 'down' so perfectly at a young age and your singing 'hits it' . Wow !

Lost mom Feb 16th due to heart failure, she was disabled and I looked after her for 13 years. Her passing left a big hole in my heart and life. Jesus referred to people as sleeping when they were passed away, I'm sure her soul will be running and she won't miss her crippled body.

Her bass is so important in these pieces. Melanie is awesome as she is on her dobro.

Our family lived in Anderson Indiana for three years while Dad was in the seminary. I sure wish the Brandenberger family would've been around back then, when, Mom and Dad paled around with Bill and Gloria Gaither. The Brandenberger family would've blow the roof off the tabernacle.

We need more families like the Brandenbergers in this troubled world we live in. Their music is so soothing and they have a lot of talent. I have been a fan of Bluegrass for over thirty years and they are on top. Great family, great music.

You are the most beautiful souls I've seen in a long time. I heard Bill Monroe on the radio in the Forties with my Grandpa Jennings. We used to listen to the Grande Ole Opry together, and these young folks have nailed that original sound of Bluegrass. I sing my heart out with them on the harmonies. Thank you, and God Bless you.
