For me, the quad flew just ok out of the box. I thought it would be better. I upgraded it to 4.1 and put JB's toon on it plus GemFan 51466 Props. What a difference quad really flies great now.

Hi i just got my drone but unfortunately i watched video that it was saying that the lipo battery is very dangerous charging it will explode an even low battery still gonna explode. So my brand new fpv racing drone just stock in the house i never been tried for test flight because im scared to charge the lipo battery my main concern is they said it will explode even its low battery so my lipo battery i never keep inside our house i just put them outside im scared that it will catch fire is there something i have not to scare for about the low battery? Thanks

first thing id do is take those leds off, and possibly take that slab of tpu off that back of the quad and just leave enough tpu to mount the antenna.

Good video Bob. Just FYI tho. The dipping can reduced to nearly zero by raising P. Then if you get oscillations at high throttle you use TPA to combat that. It really is that simple - huge improvements are available this way. You need to tune these things, you can't always use defaults and expect results. Then you're at the mercy of variable hardware.

I just snagged a talon F7 fusion board to put in my glide lite. Haven't had a chance to give it a fly yet... work has been crazy busy lately. But I am excited to see if the dual gyro is hype or not. Keep up the great content!

My quad is 670g too and I think it's not heavy! But then again im using hero 6 and my battery weights over 200g. Those props are interesting!

You know, it's ironic that you dropped this video today because I was tuning the new apex I built yesterday, ( gigawatt+talon f7 on 4.1 w/ rpm filtering) and it had the same issue. Now I also added the hero 7 black on the front yesterday, and before the go pro it didn't have that issue. I tried increasing anti gravity from its stock setting of 10 (incrementally) up to 20, and only saw a decrease in performance. It never took care of the problem. I had to raise my I gain on pitch by about 8 points and problem solved.

Hi mate, just got bck to your video, basically I had a fantastic day today flying my 6S cidora (did 24 packs LOL) I fly only with 1100mAh battery (weight 190grams) attached to it but cant get the same behavior of my cidora like you got here in this video mate, did you tweak PIDS or are you on factory settings?

Also you have that instant pump from takeoff throughout the flight, like little jumps of power, did you modified inputs on your radio controller (TAER1234) to get that super fast response?

Hey Bob. Thanks for the video. I'm building a five inch and want to use the motors you recommended, the iFlight Xing E. For 4S should I get the 2450kv or the 2750kv? Have you done any testing on these KVs of this motor? Thanks!

My Ratel camera was blacking out on me also! I tried it on different kwads! I wound up putting hot glue around the plug because I noticed that there was a tiny bit of movement. The hot glue fixed it i guess? It hasn't done it since?!
