New Petzl Carabiners Just Dropped!

Petzl seems to be good at refining designs. After looking at a bunch of options, I built my MA system with the Petzl twin release and have been very pleased with it. They also make the smoothest multicender.

If you've got any Piranas or ATS around, can you tell us whether the new Attache or Rocha are small enough diameter to work with those descenders?

Awesome. I had seen the new Attache but not the Rocha. Nice that it has the tether hole like the Sm'D. I had ordered a new Attache from REI a couple weeks ago but it says ETA 3/13! Should have bought from HowNot2. :D

Are those holes in the top of the roche? The problem i had with the attache, was that it had a nasty tendency to stick closed.

Im using thos carabiners almost 3 months ( have the salmpels ), the new attache work better and smooth with munter then the old version, and the ropes glide better in guide mode with this carabiner

So maybe one smooth one for belay and two smaller ones for anchors interesting idea.

Rocha for clove + grivel plume k3n for bolts = lightest quad setup I’ve ever owned.

Petzl Attache is the only carabiner I've used that's locked up on me. Luckily was only sport climbing and so used pliers to get it off the Gri Gri at the end of the day. Been told about other Petzl biners jamming on alpine climbs, not even due to ice build up.
