Ακολουθούμε τον Επιστημονικό Διευθυντή του Μουσείου και Επιμελητή της έκθεσης Δρ. Παναγιώτη Ιωσήφ στον Τύμβο των Μακεδόνων και ανακαλύπτουμε το τρόπο με τον οποίο ο Φίλιππος αποφάσισε να τιμήσει τους 500 Μακεδόνες πολεμιστές του που έπεσαν στη μάχη της Χαιρώνειας αλλά και λεπτομέρειες για την ανασκαφή του τύμβου στις αρχές του 20ου αιώνα.

Curators’ talk | “Chaeronea, 2 August, 338 BC: A day that changed the world”

Join us as we follow Dr. Panagiotis Iossif, Scientific Director of the Museum and Curator of the exhibition, to the Tumulus of the Macedonians and discover how Philip decided to honor his 500 Macedonian warriors who fell in the battle of Chaeronea and interesting details about the excavation of the tumulus at the beginning of the 20th century.
