Golf Tip: Tunnel Out Your Core for Space & Power

preview_player
Показать описание
If you want more pars, let's tunnel out your core to create space for the club to swing AND to leverage power from the ground (force). This is a great visual to illustrate the power of a hollowed out core (engaged) for better ball striking. So, let's get to it!

I tried this tip today. I am 68 years old and have spent thousands of dollars with pros, trying to fix my early extension. This tip fixed it in one bucket of balls. Today, I played and used this tip from my putter to my driver. I hit shots that I always wanted to hit but never could. Thanks!

I noticed Maria Facci has this look but never figured out what it’s about. I’ve been searching about this. There you go! It’s exactly what I am thinking about it ! The greatest tip !

I’ve learnt more in the 2 videos I’ve watched of yours than anything I’ve watched in the past 10 years

I have played our wonderful game for over 60 years including competitively in my youth, high school and college - and somewhat afterwards and still to this day at 70 years of age. As Gary Player said - also around 70 then: "I have been playing this game for over 60 years and I still don't know what I am doing." I have continued to try to learn with instruction, video's (especially Hogan) and have moments of brilliance. I actually shot 71 last year on a difficult course. But I still don't know what I 'm doing. :)

However, I am "pumped" after watching this video as I think it explains what I needed to hear. Because everyone once in a while in the past year, I totally unloaded and hit it much further than expected. I think it was that "sweet moment" explained above as I tried to imitate Hogan but "not knowing what I was doing." I weigh about 140 and am 70 years old and was used to having good tee shots go about 250. I have hit one ball at the 150 marker on a hole measured at 503 (350 yards). I chalked that up to maybe hitting a rock in the ground - there is some shallow flat/smooth limestone around here. I have on the same hole gone 325 and 300. Other than those three literally "unbelievable" shots and a few irons that went over greens, I continue to play as though not knowing what I am doing. I have HOPE that one day in the next year or two I will shoot my age!! The ultimate!!! I have been too afraid to let it go as shown in this video.

This is the best bit of advice and video I have ever seen in all my years.

This felt and sounds like it will work for me since I am getting stuck and standing up. I'm excited to try it! I feel the tunnel

It's the middle of the night over here and I had to get out of bed to take a few practice swings using this idea and it felt interesting, definitely a move I've never thought of, nor has any pro presented it this way. It's always been about getting the arms in front as opposed to moving your body away. I'll see how it works in a friendly match tomorrow.

Been enjoying your videos for some weeks now, but this one has made it to the top of my faves....along with the "Trail elbow leads" video. Thanks a bunch! <3

The tunnel of C shape, I realized this concept is very important and very very useful through my practice.
As you Ms Christina Ricci said above, tunneling out my core to create space for the club to swing and to leverage power from the ground (force) came to be a new very useful concept to me. The power of a hollowed out core, it's great !! Thank you a lot !

Thankyou Christina. This advise is going to help me a lot because your explanation is very visual . I have been working on this movement in order to get perfect contact and to compress the ball, it's difficult for me

Christina another awesome video. I’m just heading out for another round and that is something I’ve been working on the past week, feeling like I’m moving away from the ball as I hit it. Or as you say creating a tunnel awesome. Thank you very much.👍👍⛳️🏌️🇨🇦 ps playing good after an 11month lay-off.
