I won't lie, I would LOVE to see a series on this. Especilly since you and Kate own the IRL game and have been wanting to play it. This is one of my favorite board games, and I would love to see you learn the ins and outs of all the different factions. One game as the cats just isn't seeing the whole thing.

Cats: Turn based strategy
Birds: Command line programming
Woodland Alliance: Plague Inc.
Vagabond: D&D

Man, I've had the same experience with the Root physical board game. Excited to see how it translates to digital and how they tutorialize the game which seemed relatively complex.

This is one of my favorite board games, and it's pretty cool to see it in digital form now. They also really blew my expectations for it out of the water with all the 3D models and animation, though it's a shame it doesn't have either of the expansions.
I really hope you'll play this game more, and hopefully we can see it on the NLSS sometime in the future, too!

This maybe good NLSS game but.... every body need go through tutorials. Cat are most streamlined faction in this game.
And other mechanics are so difrent so teaching "as it goes" is dificult.

Would love to see a game with each of the Four Factions if possibly, considering how each faction has entirely different and unique gameplay styles.

This is an incredible recreation of Root. The art has so much effort put into it. I’ll have to pick this up, as I’ve doubted my groups desire to play Root on tabletop.

I adore Root, so glad you're checking it out. I agree it could be a good NLSS game, with the right group. Though I would advise that everyone go through all the tutorials ahead of time. Since it's asymmetrical, It helps immensely to have at least a general understanding of how all 4 factions work.

As a Root fan, I was worried about the cost of it. I own both expansions and that's already a $100 investment. Definitely looks good though.
