I was very close to my grandad and when he died when I was young (about 5) my mum and dad said I’d have full conversations with him as if he was there for hours. The doctor said that was my mind trying to compensate for the loss because I was so attached to him and I remember the conversations, they were full blown and I remember replies, questions, everything

If I have a question sometimes I ask my self in my head and I then answer it in conversation.

For example:
Me:"what did I get up for again?"
Other me: "you were going to get water"
Me: " oh yeah, thanks."
Other me: "no problem man"

Only once, when I had just woken up, I clearly and loudly heard my family downstairs talking, but when I checked, nobody was in the house at all. This lasted a couple minutes with me going back over and over to make sure nobody was actually there, and then I heard my brother literally in my room say something. And I'm like... nope, i'm not dealing with this and went back to sleep XD.

Sometimes I think I can hear my mom calling me. Then I just ask her if she said something, and she says no.

I sometimes hear “voices”, but it’s more like a mixture of non-existing noises that I can comprehend saying a word or phrase, and I almost always know it’s not real. Does that count?

I sometimes hear my phone ring while im in the shower, but when i go check, it hasnt rang at all.

I don't normally hear voices, but there are these rare instances where I'll be falling asleep, and then all of a sudden I hear an extremely loud thump, sounds like a metal pan hitting something right in my ear super loud, and I jerk awake. It's happened a few times, and it's weird.

On a side note, when I'm falling asleep, I'll sometimes trip and fall in my thoughts, and I jerk my legs and arms in real life to catch myself, only to annoyingly jolt myself out of my sleep.

Another reason could be Anxiety, I have a Anxiety Disorder and occasionally hear voices in the back of my head discouraging me. please don't judge me. <3

Before I get a migraine, I usually hear a loud explosion that is not real. I always ask my parents if they heard it as well.
