I'm binge-watching all the episodes again. I really miss silver mini-skirts, purple wigs, mesh shirts, jump suits and mod jackets, Gabrielle Drake, Dolores Mantez, Antonia Ellis, and being 11 years old.

This theme music is so fascinating that it won't lose its charm over time. I am Japanese. I was fascinated by this program that was broadcast on TV as a child.

As a kid in the 70’s this show was incredible to watch. Amazing thing is I still enjoy that awesome intro and these vintage science fiction clips. I still don’t want to grow up.

The coolest opening of all the sci-fi shows I watched as a kid. I think this was in fact my favorite show of all followed by Time Tunnel.

The thing is the program was set in the future...1980...it sounded so futuristic for us in the early 70's when this series aired. Beautiful times, no-one cared about anything. Please can we have the 70s back, best era EVER! Barry Gray you were a genius of course! RIP

Loved UFO. I wrote to Ed Bishop about playing an older version of his character in an unofficial revival. I was going to play Damon Dark and he was going to be just called "Ed" and my character tries to persuade him to come back to help fight new trouble with aliens. The plan fell through, but I did turn Damon Dark into a web series on YouTube. I'm forever grateful to Ed Bishop, he changed my life through his work on this series.

I love the Battle of Britain aspects of this show. The defenders have their radar station, back at base calm-voiced young women vector fighters onto the incoming enemies to engage their targets... Change the hardware and uniforms and this could be set in 1940.

Also love that Shado has multi-layer defences. The interceptors. Moonbase tracked rocket launchers and handheld missiles. Skydiver in Earth's atmosphere. Ground forces. It's all so well thought out.

Ahhh..the sweet and sour taste of nostalgia...UFO is an icon...

Mind blowing. Every time i hear the music i want to jump out of my seat and get ready for action..UFO was almost beyond cool, just like Lost In Space etc. Boldly immaginative, quirky, risk taking, sexy and left of centre. Although it takes a certain mind-set to get it right, lets hope we can once again attain these lofty hights.

My favorite TV Show un the 70's. I never missed an episode. I have the chance to watch those episodes which I didn't get a chance to watch them. Mom would always send me to bed early. You had a lot of fans in Mexico City at the time.

A series well ahead of its time and without a doubt his best live action series. Pity it only lasted one series . It had masses of potential.
