The real problem in the first half of the video is that it is really unusual to see a raccoon during the daytime. Im not saying that the heat might not have whammied the poor thing, but I'd be very careful about approaching it. I used to rehab for the local DNR in my early 20s. A very long time ago. They are very smart and can be the sweetest little souls. They can also be very aggressive and violent little monsters too. When sick or injured they dont show their best side lol. If you find any wild animal you think might be sick or injured, call your local DNR. In most states they have staff that are better prepared to help than we could ever be. ❤

Raccoon are good animals to have as pets, but they’re also wild animals as well. Just be careful how you raise it because you don’t know what it might have for what this woman did was actually really cool. God bless you guys out there.
