Fix Valorant Not Updating - Update Stuck 0.1 KB/s (Not Downloading)
Показать описание
This video will show you how to fix Valorant download stuck at 0.1 kbps or slow download speed error. You can usually fix Valorant download issues by making adjustments to your connection. One of the ways you can fix the Valorant won't download error is to flush your DNS cache. Sometimes issues with your DNS cache can cause network issues resulting in slow download speeds.
Another option if you can't update Valorant is to use a custom DNS server. You can set a custom DNS server through the internet protocol settings. Once a custom DNS is set you can try downloading the Valorant update again. In some cases changing the DNS will fix the download stuck issue.
If the 0.1kb/s download issue is due to your internet then switching to an ethernet connection is recommended. However, this isn't always possible. Some internet modems or routers will provide two channels of connection, a 5Ghz option and a 2.4Ghz option. A solution is to switch which network you are connected to. Typically a 5G connection will provide better download speeds, so you will want to use that when possible. If you are far away from your modem, router, or nearest WiFi extender then a 2.4Ghz connection may work better.
Another way to fix the Valorant not updating issue is to close applications that may be using the internet. By closing other applications you can be sure that the Valorant update is being prioritized and should be running faster. You can close games that are using the internet through the task manager, or by clicking the cross in the corner. Some applications will close to the hidden icons menu on your taskbar, so you will need to close them from there as well.
