Why does it say 1080pX2 on the website now instead of 4k? I backed it on kickstarter because it was 4k.
It just arrived but it sure doesn't look 4k to me.

I got mine a couple days ago. The app is not prime time ready even in Jan 2022. but as a portable media watching/ screen mirroring device, it work fairly well at 75g if you have a phone/tablet with USB-C DP output except you need to use BT earbuds on iOS since there is not volume control on the glasses so you will get full volume.

Not to mention it's a big bummer you have to have the glasses plugged into for them to work

I don't care as much about the gaming. That's what I have VR for. But I want to know if this would work with my Laptop. It would be cool to have these, and setup multiple screens (like I do in VR) that I could place around my desk space at work in AR.

In the kickstarter it seemed the adapter was needed for wifi to the phone but the consoles could connect with a HDMI to USB-C (not usb-c to HDMI which are more available).

To be honest. They are really cool but I think AR could do better. Not right now though. One thing I noticed is this could essentially be VR glasses that aren't as heavy which would be amazing to have.
