Honda CBR250R Project: Fender Eliminator/Tail Tidy & More - Part 3

Today I do some more work on the Honda CBR250R. I installed a fender eliminator and some new and much nicer rear indicator lights.
I also had a start up issue. The bike would idle but shut off after I roll the throttle. I corrected this problem by installing a new spark plug.
I then changed the foot shifter lever because it was bent from most likely a bike drop from the previous owner. The last thing I did was change the brake pads.
In the next video, I'm finally I'm going to finally complete the bike by installed all the fairings again and other parts to finish up the look.

I installed this tail tidy today, gonna have to drill down since my license plate holes misalign with the holes by about 0.5cm.
Also gonna have to figure out how to put the reflector on it since it's mandatory where I live. Other than that looks great!

Did mine on a 2019 cbr300 and it had to drill 3 new wholes in it to get it to match up and it was a complete pain in the butt. I like the end result but god was it a pain.

2:35 secods at that time you were working with the cables that are for the directional, I would like to know in detail how to connect those cables, because mine were damage and I DONT SEEM to find the right way to conecct them, can you help a subcriber ?? i just need to see the right way to connect those cables in the right way

Hey do you really have to cut out that plastic part that goes under? I really like how it turned out but I dont like the idea of cutting through OEM parts :/

Konami don't sue me 😂 so basically the Fed has rules and specifications that vehicles meant for on road use must meet and abide by so we get all kinds of weird lights and stuff. If you want a good example look at a Vespa in Europe versus one here. Ours get running lights where the European turn signals are, and we get these weird turn signals that euro Vespas don't have. Why? Federal gov specifications on how high up, and how far apart turn signals must be.
TLDR: blame Canada.

The problem with your led turn signals flashing so fast is the transition to led lights. Probably getting electrical problems because bike is detecting a low power situation when there is no actual problem. Led's just uses less power but the bike don't know better. There's a module you add between turn signal relay under handlebar dash. Should correct problem with signal flashing so fast and the low spark issue.
