I appreciate the decision that Shawn and the Playstation team made about pulling out of E3 because they simply don't have enough to show, It saves *our* time and *their* money. If you think back on E3 2018 Sony already did something very different with their live performance for Last of Us 2 and the different show floors where people have been guided around so my guess is they want to build on that but found that the E3 venue is just not suitable to do that so they wanna do their own thing at their own location of choice. Maybe they will do some kind of amusement park out of it :D

You know it feels like the ps4 came out recently and not a lot of PS4 exclusives have been released until you realize that it came out 6 years ago and a dozen goty quality exclusives have been released in that time frame.

Maybe I'm just delusional, but it seems like the entire industry is trying to kill itself off, by alienating it's customers. I keep hearing 'the future is gaming' from market analysts. Feels more like the pompous ISP/Cable industries all trying to spin-off into acquiring their own piece of entertainment, only to recreate the problem; we don't want their shitty services.

I don't need Origin, Uplay, Steam, Bethesda Launcher and Epic Launcher mucking my PC with constant updates and background activities. Just glad I don't have to deal with Sony's or Microsoft's subscriptions either, it's all becoming way too complicated in a time when, gaming needs rejuvenation, not quick buck tactics and cash grab B.E.T.A scams.

As a PlayStation fan and consumer for most of my gaming life I'm glad they cancelled E3 I have had several friends go there and tell me about their experience and with each passing year it gets worse, so this is great news to me that Sony can now go with a venue that would be better for their customers, but for the love of everything scared the PS5 needs to play PS4 disc and have over twice as much memory allocation.
