Lots of people say all the other Ali Hazelwood books are mostly the same, and many didn’t liked that because it felt like repetition. So I am hesitant to read more of her books.

The Reckless Girls was fine, I didn’t knew it was inspired from And Then There Were None until recently even though it did gave me that vibes. It was a good book, for me.

The Book Thief is said to be so emotional and I am not ready to do that to myself.

I just tried to read "Apples Never Fall", and I could not get into it. I tried for 100 pages. "The Book Thief" is amazing!

I was so let down by Atlas Six and Indigo Ridge ! 😢
I actually DNF'D Atlas Six halfway through because it was boring me to tears ! Which was such a bummer because it was on my list anticipated reads for this year.
Indigo Ridge just fell completely flat. There wasn't much I liked about it.

I didnt like nesta either before i read acosf but trust me its worth the read, you may change your mind about her, its an amazing book!
I didnt like the night circus, but i looved caraval which is also about a circus, caraval is what i expected the night circus to give me haha
Also im about to read six of crows! Cause i want to watch the series also

book of night... the book everyone loves to hate... but it DOES have shadow magic, which I know Lauren is into, so maybe it'll work for you! I may be wrong, but it might also have some assassin kinda vibe going on, too... 🤔 I remember starting it and feeling like "this is adult?! like... maybe 18... and ya feels 16... so its... "adult".... lol"
