I'm new to the Subaru family, having owned a Jeep Wrangler for years, and can say I am impressed with my new Crosstrek Sport. This past weekend I experienced first-hand the symmetrical AWD. I will say it impressed me more than I thought possible.

Bought a 3gen Legacy 2.0 manual as a "winter beater" some time ago. The car is f*ing mint when it comes to bad elements! The Viscous limited center diff is awesome in a daily. Stomp on the throttle to kick the rear loose, then counter steer and mix with engine brake to get that sweet lift-off oversteer to rotate around any corner. Only problem is why didn't I get one sooner

Subaru has been one of the top Bad weather AWD cars going allll the way back to GL and DL days and Once they came out with the Legacy platform they have been amazing, just wish they would come out with an inline engine, the boxer 4/6 is fairly unique to Subaru, but it doesn't last as long as its inline counterparts, not many very hi mileage Subarus out there that haven't had an engine replacement or overhaul

Got 2015 Outback and just bought 2020 Ascent today. Once you drive Subaru AWD you can't go to normal 2WD cars or fake AWD anymore.
Only wish Subaru would go into minivan market, that's where all the family drivers are. Got a Honda Odyssey and I miss that spacious room, easy access to 3rd row and low cargo load. Subaru would totally dominate the minivan market.

Subaru of America screwed me on behalf of my CVT transmission warranty extension. Subaru CVT transmissions are complete garbage. As a soon to be former owner do not waste your time or money on a poorly built vehicle.
