👉 Learn how to evaluate the six trigonometric functions given the value of one of the trigonometric functions. When given the value of one of the trigonometric functions of an angle, we can evaluate the values of the other trigonometric functions by first using the SOHCAHTOA principle to sketch the appropriate right triangle in the appropriate quadrant depending on the sign of the known trigonometric function.

Next, we use the Pythagoras rule to find the remaining side length of the triangle and then use the SOHCAHTOA principle again to find the rest of the trigonometric functions.
