ABOUT REVISIONIST HISTORY
Revisionist History is Malcolm Gladwell’s journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every podcast episode re-examines something from the past — an event, a person, an idea, even a song — and asks whether we got it right the first time. Thank you so much. This talk helped me reframe my career as an artist and writer - right now and for three years i have used flow to counter balance constant, intense pain and i have called it the art of survival or the art of meditation or 'bad art' or once, ambitiously, 'how to howl to the void when you want to pretend you aren't alone.' the practice was always the point, because it was through ten thousand poems that i learned how to love living. Thank you for putting it in a professorial and storytelling way rather than raw poems.

I read a wonderful article about mastery in Esquire magazine. What they said about Larry Bird and Rod Carew effected me greatly.

I was fortunately able to play Lacrosse because there was a club team in Mpls. I was in great condition because I ran constantly. I had no Lacrosse skills but I could take up the slack for people who did. I never got a goal but I did have an assist in a tied game to win 9-8.

I love this show AND I’m an extreme conservative who cringes at such phrase as “the pandemic”.
