I was lucky enough to work for dr. Halamka. He’s a genius and one of those folks that you consider yourself lucky to be in his orbit.

As a Christian, I am very cautious of "databases" and global tracking of anything, but with my current medical situation, I could almost give over to AI doctor. I asked my ENT about a CT report and his response was to say "radiologists are lazy". How is a person to have any trust in their "care providers" with this kind of response? What difference does it make how much information the medical community has in a database when they don't use it. What good is a human care provider who says, "you need to see a neurologist" and then refers you to the yellow pages and says "find one and let me know and I will send a referral"? Yes, I'm very close to saying human doctors do more damage then help. The stress I've been under is overwhelming and I'm sure making things worse. When a person can get more information and assistance from the internet then they get when they drive for 45 minutes, spend 45 minutes in the waiting room, 10 minutes waiting in the exam room, and a doctor flies in, has no time to answer your questions, and shuffles you off to the yellow pages for further treatment, you really want to rethink how to get help. I have no love for technology, but I'm as close as can be to saying use AI and robots and let these humans who are "lazy" and too busy to talk to their patients, find work that isn't overwhelming for them.
