Good perspective of a very real scenario. One could speculate that without the rack sprinklers, this fire would have quickly grown beyond control control of the ceiling sprinklers.

If I do not have face spk only flue spk, should I add solid barrier every 2 tiers ( I have spk on the ceiling )

ohhhh so this is why storage systems sometimes get designed with small hose connections around the racks. The idea must be for a rack to be controlled like this and for the FD to finish it up with a 1 1/2" connection. But still most FDs would probably just go in with a line from the pumper.

So fucking cool.!! Not the aisle that the fire originated but the one adjacent to that in racks sprinkler activates. No wander why inrack sprinkler so much needed in high piled storage. No wander why FM is the shit. Good job very impressive. I only design for city job basic commodities but this is so interesting .

My morbid curiosity wants to see the same test without the sprinklers.
My gut tells me by the 6 minute mark the whole warehouse would be ablaze.
